School of Music

Koinonia Christian Academy offers private music lessons by qualified Christian instructors.

Private lessons are taught on campus in our rehearsal rooms during the school day. Lessons are available to students in Grade 1-8.

Piano

Dorothea has played piano for over 30 years. As a University of Western graduate she has her Music for Young Children certification and her ARCT designation from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is also a Registered Music Teacher (RMT) with the ORMTA.

Piano

Anastasiya has been teaching piano for over 10 years. She spent 8 years in music school followed by 4 years of musical college and 2 year of University. Some of her teaching includes classical piano, music theory, music history and playing by ear.

Guitar/Drums

As a Wilfrid Laurier Graduate and a Mohawk College Graduate (Classical Guitar Performance), Travis has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He is a passionate composer and musician who plays piano, drums, bass, and instructs in music theory as well.

Sydney is passionate about helping students of all ages find their unique voice, build confidence as they sing and helping them lean into what makes their voice special.
